L’Oréal is using our salon as their flagship in Kilkenny.
That’s not a logo on a wall. It means their products, their educators and their courses are here, in the building you’d be training in.
The products
You’ll train on some of the best products made. Colour, care, styling. Learning on professional product from day one matters more than people outside the industry realise, because the results you can get are the results you learn to expect.
Their courses, in our salon
L’Oréal run their own courses here, separate from Aimee’s curriculum and taught by their own educators. Students on the eighteen-month course get access to them.
Their certificates
The courses L’Oréal run carry L’Oréal’s own certification. That’s a name recognised in salons anywhere you go, and it sits alongside your Academy assessments rather than replacing them. Academy modules are assessed internally; formal accreditation for those is still in progress.
You don’t have to be enrolled to attend.
The partner-run courses here are open to hairdressers who aren’t on the eighteen-month programme. If you’re already working and want to add to what you can do, you can book onto them.

Aimee competed in the L’Oréal Colour Trophy for several years and holds certificates from their courses going back to the start of her career.
The partnership behind this Academy grew out of twenty-five years of working with these brands, not out of a meeting last year.
